🎨 Huge Gelli Plate! Part 2 It worked! Go figure. I really wasn’t sure it would come out this well. Firstly, I had a rather thin Bristol that was more wrinkly and absorbent that expected.. This is the process with the 16x20” Gelli Plate from @gelliarts. I’ve completed the reverse image painting, a process that was both challenging and rewarding. Turning my photographs into large-scale monotypes is really exciting and working on this scale blends the approaches I use in my oil paintings more with
